SRK-John-Abhishek for Farah Khan’s next

Farah Khan�۪s ��Happy New Year�۪ is one project that has literally taken years to take off. It was announced way before Khan’s own ��Main Hoon Naa�۪ (2004), apparently with Shah Rukh Khan, Raveena Tandon, Juhi Chawla and others in the cast. Finally, all these years later, the project is finally gaining momentum and the latest on it is that John Abraham has been added to the cast already comprising of Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani.

“Farah wanted someone with a very cool body language for the fourth male lead. She had been toying with the idea of casting John for a long time. The deal was sealed a few days before John flew off to Turkey to shoot for Race 2.”

As for John, “He is very happy he will be working with Shah Rukh for the first time. And he is excited he will share screen space with Abhishek, with whom he enjoyed great camaraderie during the making of ‘Dostana’ and has been good friends with ever since,” said the actor�۪s friend to the Mumbai Mirror.

‘Happy New Year’ will roll by year end. No leading ladies have been finalised as of yet.
