SRK & Deepika Padukone headline SLAM 2014 at O2

As reported first this morning on our sister BizAsia Showbiz, we can confirm Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone will be headlining SLAM 2014.

The event, which is being branded the biggest Bollywood concert in the UK, will be held in October at The O2 Arena.

SLAM 2014 will feature Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Boman Irani. Other artists that will support the event are Yo Yo Honey Singh, Malaika Arora Khan, Kanika Kapoor and Farah Khan. Jacqueline Fernandez and Sushmita Sen are also being rumoured to be a part of the huge event.

Only a couple of days ago, the event was unveiled in America with the above names pictured in the official promotional material. While it is speculated the London line-up will be a replica of the America show, organisers are yet to confirm the news. The event is being held to coincide with the release of the cast’s ‘Happy New Year’, which also releases in October.

Organisers will officially announce full details of the event later this month.
