SRK confirms extended cameo in ‘Dear Zindagi’

Just a few days prior to its release, Shah Rukh Khan has confirmed that his role in this week’s ‘Dear Zindagi’ is an extended cameo.

There have been reports in the last few months that this was the case but this has always been delayed, with Shinde also confirming that Khan’s role is more than a cameo. Hindustan Times quotes the actor saying, “I am a support in the film, more like an extended cameo. I am very glad to be in this film. I have never played such a role in my entire career. In the film, many questions about life have been asked which we normally don’t face- about ups and downs of life”.

The actor also said that his main attraction to ‘Dear Zindagi’ was that it’s a film made by women, “We live in a man’s world and we talk about feminism and women empowerment. The beauty of this film is that the it has been made by confident women”.

‘Dear Zindagi’ also stars Alia Bhatt and is slated for release this Friday.
