South music composer Devi Sri Prasad on board for ‘Cirkus’

One of South cinema’s top music composers, Devi Sri Prasad, reknowned for churning out mega hits, such as the latest reprisal of his hit track Seeti Maar for Salman Khan’s next, ‘Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai’, has come on board to create some musical magic for Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film ‘Cirkus’, starring Ranveer Singh.

Reported on Pinkvilla, it was a joint decision between Shetty and Bhushan Kumar to bring Sri Prasad on board as they felt his contribution would do the soundtrack justice. A close source shared that Sri Prasad has compiled two songs for the film, one being a party number and the other a romantic track, “He has composed not one, but two songs for this comedy of errors. While one song has already been shot, the second song shoot is still pending. The ones who have heard the beats of the first song inform that it’s going to be an instant chartbuster.” Further adding, “It will be shot closer to the release of the film, depending on Covid scenario. While principal shoot has been wrapped up, it’s just this one song that remains to be done.”

There are Hindi composers too on this soundtrack, but details of who they are have not been revealed.

‘Cirkus’ features Singh and Varun Sharma in a double role with Pooja Hedge and Jacqueline Fernandez as the female leads. The film is slated to release on 31st December 2021.
