Sony TV rolls out audition process for ‘MasterChef India’

Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV to soon bring India’s most loved cooking reality TV show, ‘MasterChef India’ to its audience. The show will captivate the audience with the culinary and cooking skills of budding chefs. ‘MasterChef’ will soon begin its hunt for India’s ‘MasterChef’ with auditions kick-starting from Kolkata and moving to Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Delhi.

If you live food, dream food, and your life is all about food then head to MasterChef India’s audition locations on 24th September 15th October, and 8th October respectively.

• Kolkata auditions will take place on 24th September at the Institute of Hotel Management, P-16, Taratala Rd, CPT Colony, Alipore, Kolkata, West Bengal 700088.

• Mumbai auditions to kick-start on 15th October at the Ryan International School, Vastu Park, Off, Linking Rd, Malad, Evershine Nagar, Malad West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400064.

• Hyderabad auditions will begin on 8th October at the St. Ann’s College for Women, A/45, St Ann’s Rd, Santosh Nagar, Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad, Telangana 500028.

Post the multi-city audition, the show will witness chefs from across the country locking horns. So, the stage is set, and judges are calling out all the energetic, spirited, and talented culinary experts to participate in the race of MasterChef India.

Chef Vikas Khanna said, “With MasterChef India coming on Sony, I am excited to see what all has been cooking in the kitchens of Indian homes and what food stories the chefs have. Over the past 11 years, I have witnessed so much amazing changes in our kitchens. We as a country have diverse cuisines and MasterChef India gets all those flavors under one roof while celebrating and encouraging the local chefs. It’s a great learning experience for me as there is so much to learn about our local cuisines and recipes. I am very keen to discover it all through auditions and the show launch.”

Chef Ranveer Brar added, “Cooking is my passion and is something I’ve cherished my entire life. So, being a part of MasterChef India only nurtures my passion for cooking. The show will bring insights into the rich culture of food India has had for years. I am very excited to be a part of the show, alongside Chef Vikas Khanna and Chef Garima Arora, and I cannot wait to kick-start the hunt for India’s MasterChef. Looking forward to the auditions.”
