Sony TV confirms UK telecast of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ gameshow

Just weeks after its debut in India, Sony TV has confirmed the UK launch of its new gameshow ‘Wheel of Fortune’, fronted by Bollywood star Akshay Kumar.

Produced by Frames Production Company, the series follows the classic format in which contestants spin a 24‑spoke wheel and attempt to solve word puzzles to win cash prizes.

Since its original US debut in the 1970s, ‘Wheel of Fortune’ has become a global television staple, adapted in more than 60 markets worldwide.
