Sony Pictures Networks has confirmed coverage details for its lucrative, Indian Premier League tournament.

The series, which kicks off this week on Sony MAX in India, will see Rochelle Rao and Pallavi Sharda lead its ‘Extraaa Innings T20’ show.

Pallavi Sharda, an Australian born actress with Indian roots has been a cricket lover throughout her life. I۪m very excited to be a part of extraaa Innings. It۪s a great show which is both entertaining and informative. I۪m obviously a little nervous, but hopefully the buzz on the ground of my first match will take the jitters away. I have a pretty spontaneous personality and I just want to be well-informed and relaxed so I can give the audience, the players and the show my best۝.

Rochelle Rao, the well-known Indian model and anchor says her love for cricket and amazing experience with the extraaa innings show brought her back to the show for Season 9 of IPL. She mentioned, It feels wonderful to be back on extraaa innings this year. Cricket has always had a special place in my heart and I loved my last stint on the show immensely. Since extraaa innings 2013 a lot has happened as far as work is concerned, be it travel and lifestyle or other sports shows I have been very busy. Hence moving on from that to the biggest live show on television and the sport I love best is exactly what I could have hoped for!! I have matured as an entertainer and I’m looking to bring that added dimension to the show this time around۪

This year’s IPL kicks off on 9th April 2016.
