Sony Pictures Network wins big at Goafest 2018
The day two of the Goafest 2018 witnessed the distribution of Creative ABBY Awards for six categories were declared that includes Broadcaster of the year, Design Specialist of the year, Direct Specialist of the year, PR Specialist of the year, Still Craft Specialist of the year and Video Craft Specialist of the year.
Sony Pictures Network (SPN) emerged as the Broadcasters of the year with 6 ABBY Awards that includes 4 silvers and two Bronze medals. Star India closely followed SPN with 5 metals out of which one happened to be the Silver and four others are Bronze Medals.
As many as 16 metals were awarded under the Broadcast ABBYs 2018 with only Gold medal being awarded to Zee Entertainment.
It was the Promos of the Reality show ‘Family Time With Kapil Sharma’ that has brought four medals to SPN apart from one each from the promos of KBC and Prithvi Vallabh. ‘Family Time With Kapil Sharma’ has fetched three silvers and one bronze for SPN while KBC winning a Bronze and Prithvi Vallani being awarded with a Silver medal.
Star India’s Metal tally includes a Bronze medal each for Hotstar for Game of Thrones launch and Master Chef Australia launch in Star World under the sub- category of Best launch of TV Program using multi-media.
The PregnantAkshay Promo for The Great Indian Laughter has fetched a Bronze and a Silver medal for Star Plus for being the Best TV Comedy Show promo and Best TV Reality Show Promo. ICC Champions Trophy 2017 launch Promo on Hotstar was awarded with a Bronze for being the Best TV Sports Channel Program Promo.
The launch Promo of Republic TV has brought in a Silver Medal for its owners ARG Outlier Media Asianet News for being the Best Launch of a TV Channel.
Zee Cinema’s campaign for Dangal Premiere has been awarded Gold Medal for being the Best TV program for Cause Related Marketing.
Zee Tamil’s Azhagiya Tamil Magal has bagged Bronze Medal for Best Original Music Score for a TV Program.
Nattuvartha on Manorama News has been awarded a Bronze Medal for Best TV News Channel Promo.
