Sony gears up for new November mayhem
Viewers of Sony Entertainment Television Asia are in for a big treat this month with the launch of three mega shows.
The much anticipated Indian Idol-series two takes off from Monday 21st November and as reported earlier on Biz Asia, will occupy the 20:30 time slot.
As well as the Indian Idol craze, Sony will also be launching its other grand gameshow called Deal Ya No Deal, which was also reported earlier here on Biz Asia. Deal Ya No Deal will be hosted by film actor R Mahadevan. Deal Ya No Deal will air Wednesday – Friday at 20:30 from 23rd November.
Ek Ladki Anjani Si, which is based on RCTV International’s telenovela Juana’s Miracle, which will air in the 21:30 slot currently occupied by Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahi. While Jassi… shifts to the 22:00 slot, Ye Meri Life Hai, which airs at 22:00, will meet its logical end.
A new soap titled Dulhan will also be taking airtime from December. The channel is seriously gaining momentum in the lead up to the crucial Christmas and New Year period. Will it be able to knock STAR Plus from off the top? We’ll keep you posted.
