As filmmakers revisit films from the past, Sonam Kapoor seems to have a new twist on her take on re-makes.

Explaining how she isn’t too much of a fan of films of the 80s or 90s due to their hero centric genres, Hindustan Timesrepot the actress stating, “I am not a huge fan of 80s and 90s as they were hero centric. IfI had to play a role now it has to be of a hero.So if anything had to be remade I would love to be Ms India if not ‘Mr India’ (1987). I would love to play male characters.”

Despite this, there are some exceptions Kapoor would make, in re-making films from the 80’s era, especially those of her fathers. “I would love to do ‘Tezaab’ (1988) again,” she goes onto say. Starring her father Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit Nene, ‘Tezaab’ is most famous for the song ‘Ek DO Teen’ performed by Dixit.
