Simran Sethi quits Netflix India

Simran Sethi has stepped down from her role as Netflix’s Creative Executive for India.

Sethi has been instrumental in launches of popular shows like ‘Sacred Games’, ‘Selection Day’, ‘Little Things’, ‘Ghoul’, ‘Delhi Crime’, ‘Leila’ and ‘Bard of Blood’. She joined the company around August 2017.

It is believed her decision comes after the company wanted its teams and leaders to be based in India. However, Sethi was not keen on such a move due to personal reasons.
