Sidhu Moose Wala murder mastermind Goldy Brar reportedly detained in US

Goldy Brar, the gangster allegedly behind the murder of singer Sidhu Moose Wala has been detained in the US.

Brar, who is said to be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, moved to the US from Canada in 2017. He was detained in California around 20th November. The Indian government is yet to comment on the reports.

However, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann confirmed the news during a press conference in Gujarat where was campaigning for his AAP party. He was quoted by ANI News saying, “There is a confirmed piece of news this morning. Being the head of the state I tell you that a big gangster sitting in Canada, Goldy Brar has been detained in America.”

Moose Wala was murdered in May 2022 after being shot several times.
