Sidharth Malhotra: “Varun & I don’t come in the same category”

After debuting together with Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year’ (2012), both Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan have consolidated their positions in Bollywood as two of the most promising actors in recent times. ��While there have been constant comparisons between the two, Malhotra believes they do not belong to the same category and therefore comparisons are unnecessary.

Filmfare quote Malhotra as saying, “I understand (the comparisons). ��There is no such reaction to it. ��I think it is the norm of the industry. ��They like to pitch people against people but more than that we are all doing our work – he (Dhawan) is doing some interesting work, I am doing a bit different ones. ��We don’t come in the same category. ��It was like that in the beginning and it has been the same since.”

The actor also clarified that he and Dhawan would definitely like to work together again and have discussed the same. ��However, as they first worked together under Karan Johar’s direction, the director who reunites them would have to “be good enough”.
