Sidharth Malhotra paired up with Alia Bhatt in ‘Ittefaq’ remake?

There have been rumours galore about the remake of ‘Ittefaq’, co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar.

According to Times Of India, Sidharth Malhotra has been paired opposite Alia Bhatt in the much talked about film. They were last seen together in ‘Kapoor & Sons’ and are reported to star together in ‘Aashiqui 3’.

However, the report adds that in ‘Ittefaq’, the two will not be romancing each other but instead play antagonists.

‘Ittefaq’ will be directed by Abhay Chopra (son of late filmmaker Ravi Chopra). The original starred Rajesh Khanna and Nanda.
