Sidharth Malhotra admits being “extremely close” to Alia Bhatt

Sidharth Malhotra who was some time back been busy with the promotions of his recent release, ‘Kapoor & Sons’ (2016), might be on a new high after the success of the film. Apart from his professional career, there have been lot of reports of him dating Alia Bhatt.

On being questioned about his equation with Bhatt, Malhotra told Filmfare, “Alia and I are extremely close. She’s the closest person to me right now. I’ve seen her mature and grow not only professionally but personally also. There are so many qualities in her that I admire. She’s free-spirited and yet knows her direction and she’s super ambitious. She�۪s a great a person to have around. I’m always happy and excited to spend time with her.”

Furthermore, when he was asked if Bhatt was his biggest strength today, Malhotra said that she is a huge part of his life as he feels a sense of comfort with her. He added that apart from her he finds filmmaker Karan Johar as his godfather.
