Shweta Tiwari’s daughter to make Bollywood debut

Shweta Tiwari’s daughter is to make her Bollywood debut alongside Darsheel Safary.

Palak Tiwari will be playing the lead role in a teen comedy titled ‘Quickie Made’ which will tell the story of two teenage strangers having a one-night stand.  Tiwari is excited about the film stating “This is my first film and I am really looking forward to it. I just hope it will be a great journey, like I expected it to be, and people will appreciate this film”, as reported in Hindustan Times.

Safary, the child star of Aamir Khan’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ (2007) directed film, will be the male romantic lead.  The makers of the film have zeroed in on the teen comedy which they state is an unexplored genre in India.  Talking about Tiwari they said “We auditioned hundreds of girls, and even thought that maybe we should go with an older girl. But after 4 months of searching, we came across Palak, 17, who blew us away with her acting skills, subtle expressions, and confidence in the audition. Also the fact that she is a teenager helps her to get into the character easily and aids her performance.”

The film will be written and directed by Pradip Atluri.
