Shraddha Kapoor says ‘Sun Saathiya’ in ‘ABCD 2’ was “difficult”

Shraddha Kapoor is being applauded for her romantic dance number, ‘Sun Saathiya’ from her upcoming release ‘ABCD 2.’ She and co-actor Varun Dhawan had gone through extensive training for the heavy choreography in the film, and Kapoor says ‘Sun Saathiya’ is one of her favorite songs from the film, but was a very challenging one.

Talking to Times Of India, she described the difficulty of playing a dancer in the film, ” I don’t know what to say….the kind words that are coming from people is encouraging. This is one of my favorite songs from the film and it’s a beautiful song. It has a romantic feel to it. It was very challenging for me. Whether I wanted to or I didn’t want to, when you dance a lot, you end up losing weight and also Remo wanted me and Varun to look like dancers. Dancers tend to look lean and I ended up becoming like one of the dancers.”

‘ABCD 2′ is the second installment of D’ Souza’s popular dance film, ‘ABCD’ (2013), starring Prabhu Deva. The unit of ‘ABCD 2,’ including Dhawan and Kapoor had also shot a major portion of the film in Las Vegas. The film is slated to release on 19th June.
