Shraddha Kapoor not ready for Saina Nehwal biopic

The Saina Nehwal biopic has been in the news for some time. Previously, it was reported that the Shraddha Kapoor starrer was to go on the floors now but it seems the actress is not yet fully prepared to play the role.

Talking to The Asian Age, Kapoor said, “We are going on floors next month. But we will be shooting the non-badminton portions first. I am not yet ready to play like Saina onscreen; it will take some time to get it right. Only when my game is good enough will we shoot the badminton sequences.”

Kapoor is said to have been taking lessons in badminton for nearly two months. She told the publication, “I think that’s the only way to do it. It’s a very big responsibility, and I should try to play the part as well as I can. Of course, I cannot become a pro in one year, it’s not possible. But I will try my best to be as good as the shots demand. That’s what I am working on, and we will get there. I am going to train for as long as it takes.”
