Shilpa Agnihotri to make comeback as cameo in new TV serial

Best known for her roles in popular TV shows such as ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ (2000-2008) and ‘Kkusum’ (2001-2005), Shilpa Agnihotri hasn’t been seen on screen for a while. However, if news is to believed this is soon about to change.

As Bollywood Life reports, the actress has been signed for a cameo under Ekta Kapoor’s forthcoming TV series titled ‘Chandrakanta’ starring Madhurima Tuli. According to the report, Agnihotri will be playing Tuli’s mother, and have also revealed that her character will die in the first episode.

It has also been revealed Kapoor is doing everything she can to ensure that the new series is nothing like the series of the same name on Life OK.
