Shashi Kapoor’s family rubbishes health rumours

Rumours of legendary actor, Shashi Kapoor’s health taking a turn for a worse have been refuted by his family.

Over the weekend his Facebook page was updated with the following message: “Shashi Kapoor is unwell. He is very weak. Please pray for him.” A further update earlier today stated, “He is recovering…our prayers are working… get well soon Shashiji!! We all love you!!!”

His nephew Aditya Raj Kapoor rubbished the post. Kapoor told Times Of India, “I have just spoken to his son Kunal. Shashiji is fine.” He also denied rumours that the veteran had an official Facebook page.

Kapoor’s health had shocked many in the industry after the demises of Rajesh Khanna and Yash Chopra in the last few months. He made his Bollywood debut in ��Dharmputra�۪ (1961) and has done over 116 films in his acting career.
