Shashi Kapoor to be honoured with Lifetime Award at Jagran Film Fest

Being one of the Indian Film Industries most celebrated actors, news has it that veteran actor Shashi Kapoor will be receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award during the Jagran Film Festival in Mumbai.

Running for its 6th year, NDTV reported Manoj Srivastava, Strategic Consultant, Jagran Film Festival, confirming,��”We are proud and happy that the Lifetime Achievement Award this year is to be presented to Shashi Kapoor ji, who has enriched the cinematic medium through his vast and wide range of contribution as an actor and producer and has patronized good cinema.”

Kapoor was responsible for some of the Industry’s most ��acclaimed films such as, ‘Deewaar’ (1975), ‘Kabhib Kabhi’ (1976), ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ (1978) and ‘Silsila’ (1981). Though he comes from the Kapoor dynasty, in leaving the acting world, he has managed to create a whole legacy of his own.
