With tensions high between India and Pakistan after the Pulwama terror attack, a number of upcoming Bollywood films have been ruled out for a release in Pakistan.

It has been confirmed by film producer Murad Khetani that he will not be releasing the upcoming films ‘Kabir Singh’ starring Shahid Kapoor and ‘Notebook’ produced by Salman Khan Films.

“We are not releasing our film (‘Notebook’) in Pakistan. Our upcoming films ‘Kabir Singh’ and ‘Satellite Shankar’ too will also not release there,” said Khetani, of Cine1 Studios.

These films follow other recent films that decided against a Pakistan release including ‘Total Dhamaal’, ‘Luka Chuppi’ and ‘Arjun Patiala’.
