Shahid Kapoor to take paternity leave from B-town

Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira are expecting their first baby later this year. The actor has planned to take time out from his busy Bollywood career to be with his wife and baby.

In��an interview with DNA India, Kapoor said, “I��will be off work for some time now because I want to give my baby and Mira the time. I have planned that.”

Further speaking about preparing for fatherhood, he added, “I think I will be a bit obsessive. (Smiles) There are really cool apps today where you get weekly updates. Mira knew all about that, so she kind of downloaded one for me. It�۪s called Baby Center and my wife�۪s a pro at it. So I just get all the updates about what I should be doing all the time.”

Currently, on the work front, Kapoor is busy with Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’, which is on the eve of releasing, and Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’.
