With an ongoing hectic schedule, Shahid Kapoor decided to take a break in London with wife Mira and daughter Misha for the latter’s first birthday. However, it seems he’s also reading scripts while he’s on the break.

“The last one year has been extremely demanding as after ‘Udta Punjab’, Shahid has been constantly working or shooting. After he finished ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Rangoon’, he started working on ‘Padmavati’, which was followed by promotions for ‘Rangoon’. He resumed shooting for ‘Padmavati’ and then the awards season started. He has hardly got any time to spend with Mira and Misha. So, for Misha’s first birthday (August 26), he decided to take a break and is in London currently,” said a source, according to Bombay Times.

Kapoor has apparently taken 14 scripts to read, as the source added, “Shahid has been getting a lot of scripts but he hasn’t had any time to read them. So he thought the vacation would be the best time to think about his next project”.

Kapoor will be seen next in ‘Padmavati’ which releases in November.
