Shah Rukh Khan is like my elder brother says Anurag Kashyap

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who has always wanted to associate with superstar Shah Rukh Khan, recently said that Khan is like his elder brother.

Kashyap, who also did a cameo in Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ (2014), said that they know each other from their early days. He told PTI, “With Shah Rukh Khan, I have a different relationship. Rest of the Khans (Aamir and Salman) are different from him. Shah Rukh was my college senior in Hansraj. He was the captain of our hockey team. He is like my elder brother.”

Recalling the old memories, the 42-year-old filmmaker said that Khan and his wife Gauri played an important role in his life when he migrated to Mumbai for fulfilling his dreams in showbiz. “When I didn’t have money, he would call me at his home and Gauri used to feed me. My relationship with Shah Rukh is on different level. We have never asked anything from each other,” said the ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ (2012) director.

The director also asserted that one day he will definitely work with Khan otherwise his life will not be complete.
