It’s raining remakes and sequels in the Indian television industry. The latest show, which is expected to see a sequel in the coming weeks is ‘Sasural Genda Phool’, which earlier aired on Star Plus.
IWM Buzz reports that the show will be produced by Ravi Ojha Productions and will be creatively helmed by Zama Habib. It is said that the new series will air on Star Bharat, similar to the ‘Saathiya’ prequel which is on-air at the moment under the title ‘Tera Mera Saath Rahe’.
A source told the publication, “Work on Sasural Genda Phool’s new season is on and it will in all probability launch on Star Bharat. Most of the original actors from the first edition have been retained.”
