Saroj Khan is “extremely happy and proud of Ahmed & Ganesh” for Ek Do Teen remake

The ‘Ek Do Teen’ song remake from ‘Baaghi 2’, featuring Jacqueline Fernandez, has raised many eyebrows and garnered many opinions on social media. The original song is from director N. Chandra’s ‘Tezaab’ (1988), and Chandra has not hidden his displeasure with the song. He had mentioned that he and original choreographer Saroj Khan were not happy with the remake and are planning on legal action, however, Khan has given director Ahmed Khan and choreographer Ganesh Acharya her “blessings.”

Mirror reports producer Sajid Nadiadwala and Ahmed are paying tribute to Chandra, Saroj, and Madhuri Dixit. In turn, the rumors of Saroj being unhappy has been shut down with her saying, “I’m extremely happy and proud of Ahmed and Ganesh for paying us a tribute through this song. They have all my blessings.”

A source also revealed, “There was no question of legal action. There is no competition here and there should be no comparison as every individual is different. There’s no question of which version is better as the new song is a tribute to the original team of “Ek Do Teen”. The entire Baaghi 2 team has worked very hard on it.”

‘Baaghi 2’ stars Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani, and is slated for an 30th March release.
