Sapna Pabbi summoned by NCB in Sushant Singh Rajput case

The death of Sushant Singh Rajput continues to make headlines. And after making its 23rd arrest as part of its investigation in the drugs case linked to his death, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has issued a summon to Sapna Bappi. However, according to reports, the star is “untraceable.”

Reports suggests that evidence acquired by the NCB proves that Pabbi is part of a drug nexus and her role is very crucial in the investigation, reports The Free Press journal.

Bappi, who rose to fame with ‘Khamoshiyan’ (2015), also starred in Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez’s ‘Drive’ (2019). She was also part of Anil Kapoor’s popular television series ’24’ (2013).

Her name reportedly emerged during the interrogation of Agisilaos Demetriades, the brother of Arjun Kapoor’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades.

“Demetriades has been arrested from a resort in Lonavala area of Mumbai. Drugs have been recovered from his possession. Alprazolam, a tablet that is banned in India was recovered during a raid at his home,” an official told reporters.

Taking to Twitter, Pabbi refuted rumours of being “missing”, she said, “I am saddened to see speculative media reports in India about me being untraceable or missing. I have been back at home in London to be with my family and as such my lawyers have already communicated this with the authorities in India who are fully aware of my whereabouts.”

Back in July, The ED had registered an Enforcement Case Information Report in the star’s death case after a First Information Report (FIR) was filed by Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh against Chakraborty in Bihar.

Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence on 14th June.
