Sanjay Leela Bhansali to announce next with Salman Khan on his birthday?

It has been long rumoured that Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be reuniting with superstar Salman Khan on his next film. After a period of silence, it is now being reported that the filmmaker could be announcing his film on his birthday.

Mid-Day reports that Bhansali will be announcing his film on the Khan starrer tomorrow (24th February) to coincide with his birthday. The film is rumoured to be titled ‘Inshallah’ and is expected to go on the floors end of this year.

A source told the publication, “Over a year after Padmaavat hit theatres, Bhansali is ready to announce his next project. Unlike his last two outings that were period dramas, this film will be set in the current day and age. What makes it all the more special is that it marks his reunion with Salman after 12 years since Saawariya (2007). The two were in talks over the past few months and are excited to team up again. They will soon zero in on the leading lady.”

Bhansali and Khan have previously worked together in ‘Khamoshi’ (1996) and ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ (1999).
