Sanjay Leela Bhansali offers Ranveer Singh ‘Khal Nayak’ remake?

After the success of ‘Bajirao Mastani’, it seems Sanjay Leela Bhansali is keen once again to work with Ranveer Singh. News has it that Bhansali has approached Singh to star in the remake of ‘Khal Nayak’ (1993) which he wishes to make.

It has been said lately that Bhansali had bought the rights of the film from Subhash Ghai who was keen that Singh should play the role Sanjay Dutt played in the original. Bhansali would never have disagreed with this, having worked with the actor in 2013’s ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ and also the recent ‘Bajirao Mastani’. It seems Singh is the apple of his eye.

If the rumours turn out to be true then it would be interesting to see how the rest of the cast works out but it will also be great to see Singh in such a role.
