Looks like Bollywood newbie Arjun Kapoor is getting appreciation for his performances. The actor was recently praised by his uncle actor-turned-producer Sanjay Kapoor, who says his nephew has improved with every film.

Sanjay, who is producing ‘Tevar’, also said Arjun is best in action roles.’Tevar’, which is the remake of south film ‘Okkadu’, features Arjun and Sonakshi Sinha.

“As a person there are no changes in him as such. On film front, he has improved with every film. He has carried both intense as well as romantic characters very well. He has played different kind of roles in all his films varying from ‘Ishaqzaade’, ‘Aurangzeb’ to ‘2 States’ and has delivered two superhit films and one blockbuster.” Sanjay told PTI.

“I think he is good in action. When I saw him doing action sequences in ‘Tevar’, it was amazing. He is fantastic when it comes to doing action. I was surprised to see him like this. I think this (Tevar) will be Arjun’s biggest hit film so far,” he added.

He also said that some changes have been made in ‘Tevar’ but basic essence of the story remains the same. “We had seen ‘Okkadu’ and liked the subject. We bought the rights and were excited to remake it in Hindi,” he said.

Sanjay also revealed that Arjun was always the first choice for ‘Tevar’ and has signed even before his debut film ‘Ishaqzaade’ (2012).

When asked about leading lady Sinha, he said, “She fits the role perfectly. Also, pairing of Arjun and Sonakshi was never tried and I think they both look good on screen.”

Meanwhile the former actor spoke about his love for production. He said, “I love this process. I wanted to get into production. It was a creative decision to become a producer. Also considering the fact that my family is into production so it was kind of a natural thing for me to do.”

‘Tevar’ is said to be slated for release in December.
