Sanjay Gupta confirms ‘Kaante’ sequel

Over the past decade, sequels seem to have become more and more common in Bollywood. ��Filmmaker��Sanjay Gupta has confirmed that he will be making a sequel to his hit film, ‘Kaante’ (2002), but only once Sanjay Dutt is available.

“Of course ‘Kaante 2′ will happen, but not without Sanjay Dutt,” Gupta tweeted on his personal account.

Dutt was jailed in 2005 for illegal possession of arms but was bailed after 18 months. ��He was then jailed in 2013 to serve the remaining 3 and a half years of his 5 year sentence.

Gupta is currently busy directing��’Jazbaa’, which marks Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s return to the big screen.
