Sanjay Dutt’s cameo opted out of ‘Ghanchakkar’

Following his recent Supreme Court ruling, Sanjay Dutt’s cameo in comedy ‘Ghanchakkar’ has been cancelled given the current circumstances around Sanjay�۪s imminent surrender.

A source told Mid-Day, “Sanjay has been running against time to complete all his pending projects. He had a cameo in Vidya Balan�۪s next where he was supposed to play himself. The actor had agreed to do the role at his Lage Raho Munnabhai co-star�۪s insistence.”

A production source said, “The role was perfect for Sanju baba as he had to just play himself. So no one else can replace him. It�۪s just a cameo while there are other semi-completed projects awaiting his return.”

‘Ghanchakkar’ stars Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan and releases this summer.
