Sanjay Dutt diagnosed with lung cancer; to fly to US for treatment

Sanjay Dutt confirmed earlier today that he was taking a short break, after being admitted to hospital over the last few days due to breathlessness. It’s being said that the actor has been diagnosed with lung cancer, at stage 3.

Neither Dutt nor his family have confirmed a cancer diagnosis but a friend has told Bollywood Hungama, “It is curable. He needs instant and rigorous treatment for which he leaves immediately.” The actor will reportedly be flying to the US for immediate treatment.

Dutt’s next is ‘Sadak 2’ and the trailer is expected on 12th August. As such, the timing of this news is rather unfortunate.
