Things went sour between Sanjay Dutt and Kangna Ranaut after the debacle of ‘Rascals’ (2011). More recently, Ram Gopal Varma acrimoniously Sanjay Dutt was the reason forRanaut being ousted from ‘Department’ (2012), but now buzz is that they will feature in a film together.
Times of India reports that the scion of Dharma Productions, Karan Johar, will bring them together in Rensil D’Silva’s next also starring Emraan Hashmi, Randeep Hooda and Neha Dhupia. ApparentlyJohar zeroed in onRanaut after Kareena Kapoor declined the offer to do the film. It’s reported thatDutt and Ranaut are no longer on talking terms so to see the two as co-stars will be interesting.
D’Silva is currently co-writing the script of the Indian version of the hit tv show ’24’ and will start his film towards the end of the year. He made his debut as director in 2009 with Dharma Productions ‘Kurbaan’ starring Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi.
