Salman Khan to host Star Guild Awards

Salman Khan has been confirmed as the host of the ninth edition of the Star Guild Awards, which take place on 16th

January at the NSCI stadium in Mumbai.

Khan hosted the event last year as well when the 8th Star Guild Awards was the most-watched event of 2013. The awards commemorate extraordinary achievements in cinema and television.

Mukesh Bhatt, President of the Film & Television Producers Guild of India said, “The Film and Television Industry has witnessed an incredible year in 2013 with regards to the quality of content produced. We are very excited and look forward to the ceremony that will celebrate the incredible performances and have a great time this year as well.”
