Salman Khan summoned in court for alleged assault in 2019

Superstar Salman Khan has been summoned in court for an alleged assault that occurred in 2019 with a journalist.

He will be required to appear at Andheri Magistrate Court in Mumbai to appear on 5th April.

ANI reports that Khan had allegedly misbehaved with a journalist named, Ashok Pandey. He filed a case against him under sections 504 (insult intended to provoke breach of peace) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.

Pandey claims that Khan and his bodyguards assaulted him when he attempted to film the actor riding a bicycle.
