In what has been a somewhat hasty decision, Salman Khan will be flying to Toronto at the end of the month for promotions of his forthcoming production Dr Cabbie۪, directed by Jean-Francois Pouliet.
The move was one that was taken in the hope to upstage a film festival taking place there at the same time. A source told India Today, Instead, they have decided to steal the Indian thunder at the Toronto International Film Festival by inviting Salman, the official producer of the film.
Apparently, Khan will be touring for three days but his activities have been kept under wraps for now. The source continued, The film is about the adventures of a young taxi driver in Canada who moonlights as a doctor. Local cabbies would be sharing their experiences with Salman. It’s going to be three days of non-stop dhamaal with Salman and his Canadian fans. He will, reportedly, be interacting with local cabbies in the area.
Dr Cabbie۪ stars Isabel Kaif and Vinay Virmani and is slated for release on 19th September.
