Salman Khan responds to Arijit Singh’s apology

Many were surprised when Arijit Singh took to Facebook to publicly apologize to Salman Khan, where it was also revealed that his version of ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ from ‘Sultan’ was omitted from the soundtrack. Khan had not responded to Singh’s apology, but has indirectly referenced him during the ‘Sultan’ promotions.

As according to Times of India, Khan said, “In every film there are a��lot of singers who sing and the director and producer make the choice of who is going to be the best voice for the film. One voice was mine but that was also rejected, so why get so upset and so hurt. This is life. There should be a day when a person (actor) should say don’t sing or sing. Smart ones don’t turn out bright. Then smart comments…Post…They don’t. You come to know the intentions.”

The ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ track that is in the soundtrack and film is that of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
