Salman Khan to launch Asha Parekh’s autobiography

Salman Khan will officially unveil veteran Asha Parekh’s autobiography at an event in April.

The book titled ‘The Hit Girl’ will share moments of the 60s superstar’s life on and off screen, according to Mid-Day. Khan has a close connection with Parekh, as she is a friend of Khan’s father Salim Khan’s second wife – Helen.

Parekh was cited in the publication saying, “Now Sadhana and Nanda are gone. It’s just Helen, Waheeda, Shammi Aunty and me.”

She added, “This is something I wanted to do, but hadn’t gotten down to doing for a very long time. My good friend and journalist Khalid Mohammed, whom I’ve known for years, helped me to do it. I hope the book is liked.”

The book launches on 10th April.
