Salman Khan: “I’m not a superstar, SRK is”

Salman Khan may have scored another hit with ‘Tubelight’ but he doesn’t brand himself a superstar. Instead, the actor, would give that title to his good pal, Shah Rukh Khan.

In an interview with Filmfare, Salman was asked what challenged a superstar faces in today’s times, to which he responded with, “I’m not a superstar. Superstar is Shah Rukh Khan. It’s just a job. If you take it seriously, it will go to your head. I’m just doing my job like you people do.”

Salman and SRK share screen space in ‘Tubelight’. Talking about his appearance, he said, “Shah Rukh Khan has done a day’s work. He comes in at a crucial moment… it’s the turning point of my character.”

‘Tubelight’ has underperformed at the box office in terms of Eid films released by Salman.
