Salman Khan breaks down in court after being cleared in hit & run case

Salman Khan reportedly broke down in court after learning that he had been cleared in the 2002 hit & run case.

His family was by his side in the Bombay High Court when the verdict was read. The only person was unable to attend court was sister, Arpita, who is pregnant.

NDTV reports that Khan was instructed to attend the verdict. He drove to court from Karjat Studio where he was filming his next movie ‘Sultan’. Salman’s father Salim Khan was photographed leaving Galaxy Apartments earlier. Salman’s sister Alvira and faithful bodyguard Shera were also in court.

Khan�۪s lawyer, Amit Desai said the verdict was ���very satisfying. It�۪s a big relief for him.�۝

Times of India has reported that the state public prosecutor is intending to appeal the acquittal.
