Salman Khan has reportedly asked for a slew of changes to the script of his upcoming film with Rajkumar Santoshi.
The two, who are set to reunite after their cult comedy ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ (1994) for a untitled film, will begin work on the project early next year. Mid-Day reports that while Khan “loved” the script, he wants a few changes in the plot so that it appeals to a mass audience.
A source told Mid-Day, “The final script is yet to be locked and discussion between the actor and filmmaker is still on. It is a cute love story, and Salman was enthused by it. However, he has requested Santoshi to tweak it a bit. Once these changes are accommodated, the team will begin pre-production.”
Santoshi told the publication, “Salman has certain expectations from the film since we have done some good movies in the past and are going to work together again after long. I am aware of the audience’s anticipation too.”
Santoshi also confirmed that the film’s script is original and not a remake.
