Salman Khan acquires rights for Tamil film ‘Thani Oruvan’

Salman Khan has bought the Hindi remake rights of Tamil action thriller ‘Thani Oruvan’.

According to Deccan Chronicle, the actor/producer thoroughly liked the plot-driven film. The film revolves around a cop on a mission to expose corrupt people.

There were reports earlier of a collaboration with South Indian film director, A R Murugadoss but this turned out to be untrue.

Khan is currently getting ready for his next release ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. He will then begin working on ‘Sultan’.
