Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Kalagandi’ to be renamed?

Saif Ali Khan has recently resumed work after being hospitalised for an on-set injury. The actor is working on Akshat Verma�۪s next ��Kalagandi�۪, but it appears the film might end up being renamed.

Owing to the censorship woes of recent release, it appears that Ali Khan doesn�۪t want to go down the same route with the film which is an adult entertainer. A source told Mumbai Mirror, ���Saif was extremely excited about the film initially and now wants to play it safe and has asked the makers to tone down the content a notch to avoid censor problems. He also believes it needs a new title and the film could be renamed Kala Kanti. A final call is yet to be taken�۝.

It�۪s thought that several actors turned the film down due to its content so no doubt the actor and the film�۪s team don�۪t want a censorship issue along the way.

Ali Khan plays the protagonist in the film and Akshay Oberoi will be seen as his younger brother. Ali Khan is also co-producing the film with Ashi Dua.
