Saif Ali Khan on his forthcoming Netflix web-series ‘Tandav’

Saif Ali Khan was one of the first mainstream actors to make the transition to the small screen with ‘Sacred Games’. He’s now on the road to his second series, to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, called ‘Tandav’. He’ll be playing a politician in the web-series.

“I don’t want to use American examples, but it’s along the lines of House Of Cards, although set within the framework of Indian politics. The plot takes into account various factions like Dalit politics and UP cops and the whole nexus between them,” said Khan, in a statement, as quoted by Hindustan Times.

He went on to add, “My character is Chanakya-like, in the guise of a youth leader who comes from a privileged background and aspires to become the prime minister”.

His next movie ‘Laal Kaptaan’ has received positive reviews of the first look and teasers.
