Saif Ali Khan & Kangana Ranaut to star in Reema Kagti’s next?

Saif Ali Khan is expected to be paired opposite Kangana Ranaut for the first time in director Reema Kagti’s next.

After her super success of ‘Queen’ (2014), Ranaut is one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood. Her subsequent film ‘Revolver Rani’ failed to create any magic at the box office. She also declined Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Durga Rani Singh’. Mumbai Mirror reports that Ranaut has already met with Kagti for a detailed narration of the film.

A source close to the development told Mumbai Mirror, “Kangana and Reema had a comprehensive discussion on the film. Kangana is really impressed with the detailing with which the script has been written. It’s a drama which has a very strong romantic angle to it. Presently, she is only committed to Aanand L Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu sequel and Sai Kabir’s Divine Lovers with Irrfan Khan. If this film works out, it will be the first time she will be seen opposite Saif.”

The decision on Kangana being a part of the film will be taken once she returns from New York in the first week of July. The film in question will be produced by Excel Entertainment.
