London Mayor, Sadiq Khan has expressed his profound sadness at the death of school teacher, Sabina Nessa.
In a tweet shared on his social media account, Khan said he was “heartbroken” by the murder of Nessa, whose body was found on Saturday.
The 28-year-old from Bedfordshire, walked through Cator Park in Kidbrooke. Evening Standard reports that she was killed around 20:30 on Friday.
Khan said, “I’m heartbroken by the death of Sabina Nessa.
“My thoughts are with her family, friends and the whole community. I urge anyone who was in the area to contact @MetPoliceUK—any information will be vital in the investigation and help bring the perpetrator to justice.”
