Sabras Radio launches survey for London licence

Popular Midlands station, Sabras Radio has launched a survey to encourage listeners in London to give feedback about their thoughts on the London radio market.

The survey will help in Sabras Radio’s application to broadcast in the Greater London region. Listeners are being invited to express their views on the state of radio stations in London and what they would like to hear more of.

Sabras Radio, as well as four other applicants have declared interest in applying for the frequencies 963 and 972AM, which currently broadcasts Sunrise Radio. The frequencies were previously used by Club Asia before the station went into administration in 2009. Sunrise Radio, Lyca Media, London Air Radio, Panjab Radio and Sabras Radio are the publically known applicants who will submit their applications to Ofcom in November.

Sabras Radio is based in Leicester. It broadcasts on 1260AM, DAB in Leicester and online at SabrasRadio.com.
