Rumours of ‘Talaash’ and ‘Kahaani’ similarity are quashed

When the new trailer for the upcoming Aamir Khan film ‘Talaash’ released, it rested all rumours about the film being similar to the Vidya Balan starrer ‘Kahaani’ (2012).

“When��Talaash��was��earlier supposed to release in the month of June, Vidya Balan’s��Kahaani��had already released and some mischief mongers had started spreading rumours that the two films were similar. This isn’t all as parallels were drawn between each of the three principal characters��from the two films,” Hindustan Times��report a source revealing.

The first promo of ‘Talaash’ shows Khan as a cop, which ignited rumours of the similarities of both films, as Nawazuddin Siddique plays a cop in ‘Kahaani’. ��An insider confirmed stating, “The new promo has totally quashed any similarities whatsoever and Aamir is mighty thrilled about that. It is now clear that the film is about some mysterious accidents that take place at one common spot and Aamir is investigating that case.”

Although apparently not sharing the screen together at the same time, ‘Talaash’ will also see Rani Mukherji and Kareena Kapoor play predominant roles.
